FREDERICTON, NB – As originally announced here on CBN back in January, the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation has become the first liquor board in Canada, and one of the few state-run liquor boards in the world, to launch its own brand of beer.
Selection Lager and Selection Light were released today at Alcool NB Liquor stores throughout the province, and tastings are taking place at all stores today and tomorrow from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, March 14 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The beers are being brewed under contract at Moosehead Brewery in Saint John, and are selling for $18.67 per 12-pack of 355 ml cans, which is the lowest legal price in the province.
