OLIVER, BC – The town of Oliver, British Columbia will soon have it’s first and only brewery with the upcoming opening of Firehall Brewery.
Located in the basement of the Firehall Bistro (pictured above), a popular restaurant owned and operated by Bill and Dawn Reid, Firehall Brewery is being set up by Sid Ruhland. Renovations and equipment installation will take place this summer, with an aim to have beer flowing by the fall.
Initially, the Firehall beers will be available exclusively at the Bistro, but distribution to other local pubs and restaurants is planned to follow. Samples, growlers and mini-kegs will also be available in the brewery taproom.
