MONTREAL, QC – As part of the celebrations of this year’s 225th anniversary of Molson Brewing, brothers Geoff and Andrew Molson (pictured above) are in the midst of a cross-country tour that will see them visit five Molson plants in four provinces.
Starting last week with stops in Vancouver (September 27-28), Edmonton (September 28) and Calgary (September 29), the tour continues tomorrow in Atlantic Canada, with visits planned for Moncton (October 4) and St. John’s (October 5-6).
Founded by John Molson in 1786, Molson Brewing – known as Molson Coors Canada since its merger with Coors Brewing in 2005 – is the oldest brewing company in North America, and the second oldest company of any sort in Canada. Its parent company, the Molson Coors Brewing Company, is the fifth largest brewing company in the world.
