TORONTO, ON – It might have a name that makes everyone’s inner 8 year old giggle, but next month’s Beer 4 Boobs Toronto fundraiser promises to be a great event for an even better cause.
Officially announced this week and planned to be an annual event, Beer 4 Boobs Toronto will take place on Sunday March 25th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at barVolo (587 Yonge St.), and will feature 10 one-off beers from 9 female brewers, all in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Participating brewers include: Erica Graholm from Steam Whistle Brewing; Kaitlin Vanderbosch, Siobhan McPherson and Bridgid Young from Mill Street Brewery; Tracy Phillippi from Black Oak Brewing; Mary Beth Keefe from Granite Brewery; Tamara Wise from Burger Bar; Morgan Wielgosz from Amsterdam Brewery; and Jenn Robitaille from Magnotta Brewery.
Eight of the nine brewers took over the House Ales brewing system in the kitchen at barVolo this past weekend to work on a collaborative beer for the event, and they will be working together in smaller groups in coming weeks to create the remaining beers for the event.
Admission to Beer 4 Boobs Toronto will be $20 at the door, with full proceeds to be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. For more details, check out the Beer 4 Boobs Facebook page and Twitter feed.
