NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON and OLDS, AB – Just a year after the official launch of its groundbreaking Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program, the Canadian Food and Wine Institute at Niagara College has announced a partnership with Alberta’s Olds College that will see the program replicated on the Olds campus for students in Western Canada.
Under the new agreement, a project team from Niagara will be collaborating with Olds in developing a teaching brewery to be located in a hotel and conference centre currently under construction on the Olds College campus. Curriculum, courses, infrastructure and brewing equipment will be common to both locations, allowing for the partnership to continue once the Olds College program goes operational in September, 2013.
