HALIFAX, NS – The Ladies Beer League, a Halifax-based beer appreciation group for women, has announced plans to host the city’s first ever cask ale festival – as well as the organization’s first unisex event – in partnership with a brand new establishment that specializes in local food and drink.
Taking place on Sunday November 17th at the Stubborn Goat Gastropub (1579 Grafton St., Halifax), the Ladies Beer League Cask Beer Fest will feature unique and exclusive cask ales from seven breweries in the maritime provinces.
The $35 ticket provides admission for one of the two tasting sessions – 1:00 to 4:00 PM or 5:00 to 8:00 PM – and a passport to sample all the featured beers. Food and additional drinks will also be available for purchase, and both women and men are welcome to attend.
