VANKLEEK HILL, ON – This weekend sees the launch of the third annual edition of feBREWary, a month-long celebration of one-off beers and related events from Beau’s All Natural Brewing , and the kick-off once again coincides with International Gruit Day, an initiative started by Beau’s last year to get breweries across North America to release beers brewed in the ancient gruit style.

The Beau’s contribution to the day is St. Luke’s Verse, a 5.7% abv ale brewed with rosemary, lavender and thyme, and described as follows:

Copper in colour, St. Luke’s Verse Gruit Ale offers up an aromatic herb-and-spice bouquet of lavender accented by thyme and rosemary. This is a flavourful, balanced beer that is highly nuanced but very approachable.

St. Luke’s Verse will be debuted during an open house event at the Beau’s Brewery in Vankleek Hill. It will be available in 600 ml bottles at the Beau’s retail store and BYBO delivery service, and on tap at more than 100 bars and restaurants across Ontario.

Other Ontario breweries participating in International Gruit Day with their own releases include Cassel Brewery, Church-Key Brewing and F&M Brewery. Details on their beers, and those from all other participating breweries, can be found on the International Gruit Day website.
