TORONTO, ON – Mill Street Brewery has announced details of two collaborative beers and 30 unique cask ales that are being released for Ontario Craft Beer Week.
As part of the Collaboration Nation portion of the Session Toronto festival – the official kick-off event for OCB Week on June 13th and 14th – Mill Street will be unveiling Conversation California Common, a beer created together with Toronto band July Talk. Following its debut at Session, the beer will be available for a limited time at the Mill Street Brewpub.
In Ottawa, Mill Street has teamed up with Brothers Beer Bistro on a new beer that will be launched at Brothers on Thursday June 12th. My Darlin’ Lemon Thyme is a saison brewed with lemon balm and thyme, and as noted on the Mill Street Facebook page, the release party will include the original beer on draught alongside three cask variants.
Cask variants are also the main theme of Rock The Cask-Bar, a project that will see 30 cask beers available at bars and pubs across the province during OCB Week, many of them versions of core Mill Street brands that have been infused with other ingredients.
Beers in the series will include variations on Mill Street Wit with such flavours as rosemary & juniper berries and pineapple & coconut; Cobblestone Stout beefed with with ginger and root beer flavours; and versions of Tankhouse, IPA and Metro Mild that are dry-hopped with various hop varietals.
