ELORA, ON – 15 years after the closure of Old Mill Brewery, the small town of Elora is set to be home to a brewery again, with the upcoming opening of Elora Brewing.
As reported in the Guelph Mercury, the five partners behind the brewery intend to have the brewhouse, tap room and retail store open to the public in May.
In the meantime, an initial batch of Three Fields Unfiltered Triple Grain Lager – brewed with barley, wheat, and rye, and described as having “a distinct malt profile that begins with subtle notes of citrus and finishes smooth, dry, and crisp” – has been brewed elsewhere under contract, and will be available soon at select bars and pubs in Elora and surrounding area.
