VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced the launch of a campaign to raise funds for an ambitious new barrel-aging program at the brewery.
Dubbed the Barrelholder Program, the campaign running on crowdfunding website Indiegogo is aiming to raise $15,000 to fund the purchase of various barrels, racks, and supporting ancillary equipment, as well as construction of yeast propagation chamber at the brewery.
As with other crowdfunding campaigns, a variety of perks are being offered for donations, with the top tier of 12 “Barrelholders” having their names printed on barrels visible from the brewery taproom. They will also have advance access to limited edition releases, the opportunity to try beers as they are aging, and input into what beers should be aged for future releases.
