TORONTO, ON – Labatt Breweries of Canada – a division of multinational brewing company AB InBev – has announced that will be acquiring Canadian ownership of a portfolio of beverage brands owned the Mark Anthony Group, including Stanley Park Brewing as well as non-beer brands such as Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Okanagan Cider, and Palm Bay coolers.
Labatt has indicated that it will be making capital investments into Turning Point Brewery, the brewery where the Stanley Park brands are made, and that the facility will continue to operate on an autonomous basis.
Mark Anthony Group will now be concentrating on its wine, spirits and beer importing operations in Canada, while retaining ownership of several brands including Mike’s Hard in the United States.
