VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced the release of a new beer that is intended to poke a bit of fun at a certain seasonal style that floods the market this time of year.
According to C12, Zombie Repellant Ale – or ZRA – is “the First Anti-Pumpkin Beer!” The 6.9% abv ale is further described as follows:
They’re coming… you’ll recognize them as the hordes of pumpkin spice-infused zombies that descend upon liquor stores just as the days shorten. In anticipation of the impending onslaught of pumpkin beers, Category 12 Brewing has armed themselves with their newest fall seasonal, Zombie Repellant Ale. This release equips the bottle wielder with a beautiful blood red ale that uses Zythos hops, CaraRed malt and Azacca hops with hints of licorice and sweet orange.
ZRA is available on tap and in 650 ml bottles at the brewery, as well as select local liquor stores and bars, while supplies last.
