TORONTO, ON – Amsterdam Brewery has announced the release of a new mixed pack focused on several hop-forward brands, as well as details of the launch event for this year’s vintage of an always anticipated seasonal favourite.
Top of the Hops is a six-pack featuring two cans each of Cruiser Pale Ale, Boneshaker IPA, and the new Pale Rider Lager, which is described as follows:
Pale Rider is the perfect match of a smooth crisp lager with a robust IPA. The delicate flavour of the lager is enhanced with a big hop aroma that comes from dry-hopping. A mix of El Dorado and Amarillo hops bring an aroma and flavour to the beer like no other. The perfect blend for an easy drinking aromatic beer with a crisp clean finish.
The Top of the Hops package is rolling out now to LCBO locations, and individual cans of Pale Rider are available exclusively at both Amsterdam retail locations.
The same brewery retail stores will also be selling bottles of the new edition of Double Tempest, a barrel-aged Imperial Stout, starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 26th.
Described as being “rich with dense chocolate, rich malt and a candied Bourbon Oak finish,” Double Tempest will be available for $15 per 650 ml bottle, with sales of the 1000 bottle edition being limited to 6 per person.
A full-blown release party of Double Tempest will take place at the Amsterdam Brewhouse on the same day starting at 12:00 noon, featuring a selection of rare Amsterdam Adventure Brews on tap. food pairing, and live music. See the Facebook event listing for more details.
