WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg’s newest brewery and taproom has announced that it will be opening its doors today.
Little Brown Jug Brewing has been founded by Kevin Selch and brewmaster Bernie Weiland, and is located in the city’s Exchange District at 336 William Avenue, an historic building that was originally used as a bus garage by the Red River Motor Coach Company in the early 1900s.
The brewery is launching with a single beer – 1919 Belgian Pale Ale – that is available on tap to taste on-site, and take home in 750 ml mini-growlers (the brewery’s namesake “little brown jug”) and standard 1.89 L growlers.
During its soft launch phase, Little Brown Jug will be open Wednesday to Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM. Full business hours will be announced via social media once confirmed.
