Townsite Brewing Launches Bois Sauvage Wild Ale Series

POWELL RIVER, BCTownsite Brewing has announced the release of the first in a new series of barrel fermented wild ales.

Known as Bois Sauvage – French for “Wild Wood” – the series will feature beers fermented and aged in the Townsite barrel room, which is home to wild yeasts such as Saccharomyces, Lactobacillus, Pediococcus and Brettanomyces.

The first release in the series was put into barrels in May 2015, and bottled six months ago for conditioning. It is now available exclusively in the Townsite Brewery retail store while supplies last.
