MONCTON, NB – Pump House Brewery marked their 10th anniversary today with a celebration featuring the ceremonial tapping of a special anniversary beer by Ray Auffrey, the man who bought the first beer from the original brewpub location 10 years ago.
Now in two locations – the original brewpub in downtown Moncton, and a larger bottling brewery and restaurant to the north – Pump House is one of Atlantic Canada’s most successful small breweries, with awards including the Brewery of the Year honour at the 2005 Canadian Brewing Awards.
Pump House produces 5 bottled beers, with distribution to most provinces, and offers 8 year-round beers and a number of one-offs and seasonals at the brewpub.
