HALIFAX, NS – It will be a double celebration at the Hart & Thistle in Halifax this coming Saturday, October 10th, as the brewpub marks both the release of a new beer, Double Simcoe SMaSH, and the birthday of brewmaster Greg Nash.
The restaurant will be offering a special two-course dinner for $29.95, including a beer paired with each course, and the Double Simcoe SMaSH will be tapped for the occasion. This new double IPA is brewed to 8.3% abv, and is massively hopped to well over 100 IBU. As Nash describes it, “it’s a big fun beer with a boat-load of hops”.
