MONTREAL, QC – Unibroue has taken a social media/viral marketing approach to the release of their newest beer Blonde de Chambly, debuting it last night at an exclusive event for members of YULBlog, a community of Montreal bloggers.
According to a tweet from one of the attendees, Blonde de Chambly is a saison, although all other information about the beer has yet to be released.
Blonde de Chambly will be released to the general public at Mondial de la Bière, Montreal’s major beer festival, running today through to June 6th at Windsor Station.
Unibroue has not only taken a social media/viral marketing approach to the release their new Blonde de Chambly, they also took a virtual distribution approach… I haven’t seen a bottle in a grocery or convenience store yet…
They should spend less time in virtual and more time in the real world, they would sell more…
