HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the release of 3 Fields Harvest Ale, a beer recently brewed using fresh hops from three Atlantic Canada hop farms: Ross Farm Museum in New Ross, NS; Meander River Farm in Ashdale, NS; and Happy Hopyard Farm in Saint John, NB.
In a press release, Garrison president Brian Titus calls the beer “a real celebration of hops in their freshest form,” and notes that “just like picking fiddleheads or grapes for icewine, this is something that only happens once a year.”
3 Fields Harvest Ale will be served for the first time at the brewery on Friday September 17th from 5 to 7 pm. It will also be featured at Garrison’s Oktoberfest party on September 25th, and will be released in 500 ml bottles, making it the first bottled wet-hopped beer in Atlantic Canada.
I love 3 Fields Harvest Ale! I tried it last night. Awesome. Keep it up.
