EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewing has released two beers ideal for the cooler weather – one a returning seasonal, and the other the latest installment in their 15th Anniversary series.
The returning beer is Alley Kat Coffee Porter, part of the brewery’s rotating seasonal line-up:
The beginning of winter brings on trips to our local coffee shop or pub to hang out with friends or just to stay warm. This winter we’ve combined our two favourite beverages with our Coffee Porter. This robust porter was brewed with copious additions of Guatemalan estate grown coffee roasted by our friends here in Edmonton at Java Jive.
And the fifth – and final – 15th Anniversary beer is Cascadian Dark Ale:
We brewed this beer as an homage to the brewers of Cascadia who inspired us to start Alley Kat some 15 years ago. To that end this beer was brewed using Cascade hops throughout. The style is of a Black IPA which is also known as Cascadian Dark Ale because of the style’s roots in the Pacific Northwest.
Both beers are available now at the Alley Kat brewery store, and in select liquor stores throughout Alberta.
