VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing will be releasing the latest in their “Wild Oats” series of limited and one-off beers next week.
Beau’s Bog-Father – essentially an amped-up version of the winter seasonal beer Beau’s Bog-Water – is described by the brewery as follows:
Beau’s is proud to present the most recent evolution of a new style of beer we call the Eastern Ontario Gruit. Prepare yourself for a full-out assault on your palate! Intense flavours and aromatics of raisin, hazelnut, herbal bitters, burnt toast, pisang goreng, cola and bubblegum are achieved through the alchemy of a double-mash of dark malts, Belgian trappist ale yeasts, and bogmyrtle hand-picked in the Eastern Ontario wilderness.
Beau’s Bog-Father is an 8.0% abv brew, and will be limited to 1000 bottles available exclusively at the brewery starting January 20th.
Oh I bet the LCBO finds that offensive or scary and will banish it from planet Earth.
Had this on cask at Volo over the weekend. Quite delicious!
