BURNABY, BC – Pacific Western Brewing is getting set to release the fifth beer in their Natureland series of organic brews, Natureland Organic Black Stout:
This is a full bodied beer, steeped in a blend of organic two row pale malt, a generous amount of crystal malt and a balanced portion of black or chocolate specialty malts. This brew is also strongly influenced from our special top fermenting yeast strain from England, which is very suitable for stronger ale brews. We use only the best aroma hops available, however, the character of the beer is strongly on the malty side.
The beer will be officially launched at a Valentine’s-themed event on Monday February 14th at a location yet to be revealed. A contest is being run on the brewery’s website to award tickets to the event to 25 winners, who will be joined by brewmaster Peter Boettcher for the ceremonial tapping of the first keg.
