VANCOUVER, BC – According to numerous reports on Twitter and a post on the Great Canadian Beer Blog, Vancouver beer educator, writer and radio host Colin Jack has passed away.
A strong supporter and advocate for the craft brewing scene in B.C. and beyond, Colin was a partner with Cheryl Wilson & Rick Mohabir in Just Here For The Beer, described as “Vancouver’s Beer Tasting, Education and Events Company”. He also co-hosted Just Here For The Beer Radio on AM 650, wrote a beer column for the Vancouver edition of 24 hours, and served as festival coordinator for the Canada Cup of Beer.
Our condolences go out to Colin’s friends, family, and colleagues in beer and brewing.
