COMOX, BC – The Comox Valley Echo has reported that Surgenor Brewing has been put up for sale, with an asking price of $1,999,999.
According to the report, the brewery is “being promoted as a going concern, and the current owners hope a major new investment in the business will lead to expansion.” The sale will include “the half-acre of land at Shamrock Place, the brewhouse and associated offices, all the brewing and bottling equipment, and the business itself.”
The listing comes two weeks after the introduction of the newest Surgenor beer, #8 Shaft Black Lager, which joined Red House Ale, Steam Donkey Lager and In Seine Pale Ale in the brewery’s portfolio.
