HALIFAX, NS – After being debuted on tap at the Garrison Brewing Ultimate Brew-Off 2011 Gala on March 17th, the winning beer from the 2010 competition is now out in bottles and more widely available.
Brewed from a recipe developed by homebrewer Scott Tilford, Tilford’s Nit-Wit is described as “a refreshing, elegant and crisp Belgian-inspired wheat ale.” It will remain available until June a the Garrison retail store and select private liquor stores in Nova Scotia.
Also worth noting is that the winner of this year’s Ultimate Brew-Off was the team of Adam Comeau and Eric Oliver, and their Schwarzbier will be brewed and released in time for the 2012 Gala next March.
