OTTAWA, ON – To mark their first anniversary on April 29th, Kichesippi Beer is kicking off a month of celebration today (Friday April 15th) with the launch of a new beer.
Kichesippi 1855, named after the year the City of Ottawa was founded, is described as “a dark ale that continues our mandate of offering food frirendly beer with a balance of flavour while also being refreshing. The beer offers dark malt flavours with woody, earthy aromas.”
Ottawa mayor Jim Watson will be pouring the first official pint of Kichesippi 1855 during a reception at the brewery this evening at 5:00 PM, and it will also be launched tonight at 5:45 PM on draught at Johnny Farina in Ottawa, and on cask at Cheshire Cat Pub in Carp. Growlers will be available at the brewery starting tomorrow, and wider draught distribution will follow.
