SMITHERS, BC – Plan B Brewing has announced the launch of a new beer called Special Edition (for now, at least):
Just in time for summer is the newest Plan B Beer, a red ale that has a sweet malty taste and a hoppy finish. At 4.7% alcohol and 31 IBUs, this is a great summer time beer, perfect for sitting back and enjoying on a hot summer day. Ask for a taste of the Special Edition when you come into the brewery.
As noted above, the name is temporary, and Plan B is inviting people to suggest a new name at the brewery or by sending an email to info@planbbrewing.com, with the winning entry to receive a Plan B prize pack.
The brewery is also marking its 2nd anniversary this week, and to honour the occasion, a limited edition commemorative package is available at the brewery, featuring bottles of all six Plan B beers – Revenge of the Pine Pale Ale, Idiot Rock India Pale Ale, Half Cracked Nut Brown, McHugh’s Oatmeal Stout, Bitter Bob Extra Special Bitter and the new red ale – in a special wooden crate.
