GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced plans for the 2011 edition of the Wellington Realist Party, an annual open house event for fans of the brewery and its beers.
Set to take place on on Saturday September 17th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the brewery (950 Woodlawn Rd. W., Guelph), the family-friendly gathering will feature “food, beer samples, brewery tours, and a free decaled Wellington Brewery mug (while supplies last).”
The day will also feature the launch of the latest beer in the Welly One-Off Series, a harvest ale brewed using hops grown at the brewery, which will be served in both keg and cask-conditioned formats and available in 473 ml cans for take-home purchase. There will also be casks of Wellington IPA (originally released as a one-off in March) and County Dark Ale.
Admission to the event is free, but you must be a member of the Wellington Realists to attend (join for free here), and space will be limited, so early arrival is suggested.
