THUNDER BAY, ON – It’s been almost three years since the closure of Great White North Craft Brewery left Thunder Bay residents with no source for locally brewed beer. But, that situation will soon change with the launch of Sleeping Giant Brewing.
Set to open in the spring of 2012, Sleeping Giant plans to launch with a trio of beers: 360 Pale Ale (“a year-round offering based on the similar styles of North American Pale Ale and Amber Ale”); Elevator Wheat Ale (“a straw-coloured, light bodied beer as our warm weather brew”); and SkullRock Stout (“our cold weather offering… imminently drinkable pint after pint, even for stout first timers”).
The new brewery’s progress can be followed on their website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
