KELWONA, BC – In what could rightly be considered an annual tradition, Tree Brewing has released the seasonal Hop Head Double IPA for the fourth year running.
According to the press release, this year’s batch of the “occasional rarity” has been given “a few tweaks” by brewmaster Stefan Buhl, but it still has the main characteristics that has made it much anticipated brew each year:
With five different varieties of superior hops, Hop Head Double IPA (8.3 ABV) packs in the hoppy bitterness like no other. Similar to its award-winning, best-selling little brother, Hop Head IPA, Hop Head Double IPA also boasts citrus aromas and sweet malt undertones with a slightly darker, copper colour.
Tree Hop Head Double IPA is available starting this week at select stores in BC, Alberta and Manitoba for a limited time. It will also be returning to the LCBO in Ontario in February after a quick sell-out appearance in 2011.
