TORONTO, ON – The Ontario Craft Brewers have announced June 17th to 23rd, 2012 as the dates for the third annual edition of Ontario Craft Beer Week.
As in previous years, OCB Week 2012 kicks off on Father’s Day, and will feature 7 days and nights of craft beer events all across Ontario, including beer festivals, formal dinners, casual tastings, meet & greets and much more.
Co-chaired by Anetta Jewell of Great Lakes Brewery and Steve Beauchesne of Beau’s All Natural Brewing, OCB Week will have involvement from the OCB’s 29 member breweries as well as pubs, restaurants, event venues and service clubs across the province.
New this year will be a number of events presented under the banner of “Your First Time”, described as being for “newbies and naysayers, encouraging people to try new local beer flavours, styles and brands and report on their experiences using social media.”
The first round of planned events for OCB Week 2012 will be posted to the website on May 1st, with more to follow as the week draws closer. Those with event ideas or requests are encouraged to contact their local brewery or send an email to info@ocbweek.ca
