Railway City Honey Elixir Debuting at April’s Thursday Night Session

ST. THOMAS, ON – In celebration of their 4th anniversary, Railway City Brewing has announced the release of Honey Elixir, a new limited release beer that was brewed using honey from the London area.

The following tasting notes are provided by the brewery:

This beautiful mahogany coloured medium body English style brown ale pours with a beige medium density head. Initial aromas suggest sweet fresh honey, some fig and raisin with an underlying hint of toasted nuts and spices. On the palate the tastes of honey, taffy and a subtle espresso wash over the palate: met beautify with a refreshing well balanced hop finish with subtle sweet fruit notes making your palate long for more.

Honey Elixir will be debuted this Thursday, April 19th at a special edition of the brewery’s Thursday Night Session tasting series. Rather than taking place at the brewery, this month’s installment will be held just around the corner at Kenny Iguana’s (668 Talbot St., St. Thomas), and will be free to attend.

Due to the larger space, admission will not be as limited as usual, but the brewery is still asking that those attending contact info@railwaycitybrewing.com to RSVP so they’ll have an idea of how many people to expect.

For those unable to attend on Thursday, bottles of Honey Elixir will be available at the brewery store while supplies last. It will also be available on tap at select licensed establishments throughout southern Ontario.
