TORONTO, ON – Just as they’ve done for the last three years, Scotland’s Innis & Gunn is once again thanking their loyal Canadian fans this summer with an exclusive beer in honour of Canada Day.
Innis & Gunn Canada Day 2012 is described as follows:
Alongside ale malt we added Aromatic Barley Malt which imparts the beer’s rich toffee colour and satisfying maltiness. We used Goldings hops from 3 farms in East Kent to impart a delicate balancing bitterness and a fruity twist. We then slowly oak matured the beer to unlock the delicious flavours of vanilla and toffee locked inside the oak grain, only bottling it when we deemed it to have matured to perfection.
Each 330 ml bottle is packaged in a presentation box featuring artwork by Gary Whitley, an artist from Cherryville, British Columbia whose design was selected from a group of over 60 entries submitted by members of the Society of Canadian Artists.
Innis & Gunn Canada Day 2012 is available now in Alberta, Ontario and BC, and will be released soon in Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. Price ranges from $4.95 to $6.49 per bottle depending on the province.
