OTTAWA, ON – Kichesippi Beer has announced the release of its latest seasonal beer, Heller High Water.
Named after the “High Water” marker that is bolted to a rock at the Lower McCoy’s rapids on the Ottawa River, the new brew is described as follows:
Heller High Water is a Pale (hell) straw coloured Bavarian Lager. Brewed with German malts, German noble hops and a genuine Munich yeast. High Water is a classic example of the session beers enjoyed in Bavarian beer gardens. Our seasonal offering has a clean malt flavour with a slight hop presence, perfectly balanced for Summer quaffing.
The Heller High Water logo above was designed by Daryn Wantuck, and chosen by Kichesippi fans on Facebook from submissions by several local designers.
Heller High Water is a draught-only beer that will be released in growlers at the Kichesippi retail store as of today, and will soon be found on tap at around a dozen bars and restaurants in the Ottawa area. It will be available until the third week of August, and will return next April as part of Kichesippi’s regular seasonal rotation.
