HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has reached an impressive milestone of 15 years in business, and to mark the occasion, the brewery will be releasing two new limited edition beers this summer.
While details on the second beer are still under wraps, the first has been announced, and the following info revealed:
The theme for this first release is a celebration of a key brewing ingredient – hops! A whopping 15 distinct hop varieties have been added to the boil along with loads of real mango’s and fresh, shaved ginger. “This hazy, unfiltered brew has a dizzying blend of aromas and flavours such as pine, sweet tropical fruit and citrus. It really covers the full spectrum of what hops can deliver,” says Garrison Brewmaster, Daniel Girard.
Simply called Garrison 15th Anniversary Hops, Mango & Ginger, the new brew will be previewed at an invitation-only anniversary party tonight, and will officially go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 AM at the Garrison brewery store, where it will be sold in 500 ml bottles.
