Cassel Brewery Opening This Weekend

CASSELMAN, ON – Its planned opening was first announced here on CBN last December, and now Cassel Brewery is ready to launch just a couple of weeks later than originally anticipated.

Set to open its doors to the public for the first time this coming Saturday July 14th, the brewery founded by brewer Mario Bourgeois and his partners Michel Racine and Benjamin Bercier is located in Casselman, a small and primarily francophone village situated on the Trans-Canada Highway between Ottawa and Montreal.

The debut Cassel beer will be the 5.2% abv Golden Rails Honey Brown Ale, described as being “designed to please almost everyone, even those who don’t normally like beer.” Other planned beers include Lil’ Red Steamer Red Ale, White Fog Wheat Beer, Hopper Car IPA, Black Express Stout and Railroad Special Maple Rye Ale.

Cassel Brewery will be open for visits and sales from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Fridays.
