TORONTO, ON – The organizers of Toronto’s Festival of Beer have announced details of two new attractions at this year’s edition, taking place later this month at Bandshell Park in Exhibition Place.
The Brewmaster’s Series is being presented in conjunction with the Niagara College Teaching Brewery, and will feature a number of experts giving talks on throughout the 4 days of the festival, covering such topics as beer styles, beer and food pairing, and cask-conditioned ales. The full schedule is available on the TFOB website.
Also new this year is the World of Beer Pavilion, which will focus on beer from a different geographic region each year. For the inaugural edition, the spotlight will be put on Quebec, with Keep 6 Imports curating a line-up including beers from Dieu Du Ciel, Charlevoix, Le Trou Du Diable, Les Trois Mousquetaires, Dunham and Hopfenstark, many coming to Ontario for the first time – the full list is available on the Keep 6 website. There will also be offerings from Les 3 Brasseurs and Les Brasseurs RJ, and several Quebec ciders.
Toronto’s Festival of Beer 2012 takes place Friday, July 27th to Sunday, July 29th. It will be preceded on Thursday, July 26th by the Queer Beer Festival, a LGBT-friendly event featuring the same vendors and attractions as the main festival, including those mentioned above.
