TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of a new beer created in collaboration with Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø, the Denmark-born and Brooklyn-based mastermind behind the nomadic Evil Twin Brewing.
While the name of the beer hasn’t been revealed, it’s described as a “pale ale brewed with aromatic hop varieties from New Zealand, apricots and mango to compliment the heat of summer, and finished at a solid 6.8% ABV.”
Jarnit-Bjergsø will be in attendance at a special launch event taking place tonight (July 23rd) at the Bellwoods Brewery bar and café (124 Ossington Avenue, Toronto). The evening will be split into two sessions – 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM & 9:30 PM to 12:00 midnight – and will feature food by Chef Daniel Burns, who has worked in the kitchens of some of the world’s top restaurants and was recently profiled in the Globe & Mail.
Tickets for the launch are available online for $25, with admission including a pint of the collaboration beer and a dish prepared by Burns, and additional food and drink available for purchase. The beer remaining after tonight will be on tap at Bellwoods while supplies last.
