TORONTO, ON –Black Creek Historic Brewery has announced the release of its newest seasonal beer, Black Creek Pumpkin Ale.
This fall-inspired brew is described as follows:
The new beer captures the essence of pumpkin pie that’s rich in aroma and spicy in flavour. The beer uses real pumpkin in the brew kettle and is infused with a blend of spices including nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon prior to fermentation. The result is golden ale heady in spices and flavor.
Two versions of Black Creek Pumpkin Ale will be available. The first is currently on the shelves at LCBO outlets throughout Ontario, and is brewed on behalf of Black Creek at Oakville’s Trafalgar Brewery where capacity allows for larger batches to be brewed for retail distribution.
A smaller batch has also been brewed using the equipment and methods typical of late 1800s Ontario at the Black Creek Historic Brewery. The resulting beer will be available to taste and in take home growlers at Black Creek Pioneer Village‘s Howling Hootenanny event, taking place on October 27th.
