MONCTON, NB – Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that Pump House Brewery has released two seasonal beers in six packs of bottles for the first time, and has also launched a new sampler pack.
The two seasonal brews – Thai Wheat and Oktoberfest Lager – were previously available only an draught at the Pump House Restaurant and other select locations. They are described as follows:
Thai Wheat is a blonde thirst-quenching wheat beer with the aromatic bouquet and flavours of spices, lemongrass and ginger. Lightly acidic and tart with a very clean finish.
Oktoberfest has a rich amber hue, medium body and malty bouquet. Blending together 3 roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavours including caramel and toffee. The elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops keeps it perfectly balanced and provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.
Also available now is a Pump House sampler 12 pack, the contents of which are not yet confirmed, but which is speculated to contain two bottles each of the brewery’s six core brands – Cadian Cream Ale, Fire Chief’s Red Ale, Scotch Ale, Blueberry Ale, S.O.B. and Premium Lager.
All three are available now at ANBL locations in New Brunswick, and NSLC stores in Nova Scotia.
