VANCOUVER, BC – Granville Island Brewing has announced the return of Lions Winter Ale for another year, with distribution expanding beyond British Columbia and Alberta for the first time.
The popular annual beer is described as follows:
GIB’s Lions Winter Ale combines premium Crystal, Vienna and Munich malt with aromatic specialty Cluster and Mt. Hood hops, which contribute to the beer’s rich and robust flavour. Pairing well with creamier, sweeter foods, Lions Winter Ale is the perfect accompaniment to winter comfort food such as clam and bacon chowder, or roasted pork chops.
This year’s edition of Lions Winter Ale is out now in BC, where it is available in bottles and cans at BC Liquor Stores, and on draught at select bars and restaurants. It will also be returning soon in Alberta, and debuting in Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia later this month.
