ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced plans to move into a larger facility and increase production.
According to a press release, the brewery will remain in St. Thomas, but with a new location that will include “an expanded production facility for cans, bottles and draft beer, a larger retail store to better serve the walk-in crowd and a tasting room large enough to hold special events.”
Railway City noted that the move and expansion is necessary to keep up with the large and increasing demand for their beer, which often outstrips supply, especially in the busy summer months.
The brewery’s current location at 168 Curtis Street in St. Thomas will remain open until the new facility is in operation. The full move is expected to take place sometime in 2013.
