TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has posted photographic evidence that Imperial Black IPA, the third beer in the GLB 25th Anniversary Series, is close to being released.
Originally announced earlier this month, the 9.5% abv & 100 IBU ale is described as being “packed full of our favourite hops and loads of dark roasted malts and is sure to blow your minds and palates!”
GLB Imperial Black IPA will be available soon in a limited run of 750 ml bottles at select LCBO outlets and the Great Lakes retail store.
Also coming soon from Great Lakes are three other limited edition brews:
- Vanilla Espresso Imperial Stout – Bottled last week in a run of less than 300 bottles that will be available at the brewery store.
- Chocolate Mint Porter – Brewed last week by Drew Williams, winning bidder from the 2012 Brewers Plate event, and radio host John Tory. A portion will be bottled for Drew and John when ready, and the remainder will be served at next year’s Brewers Plate.
- Karma Citra IPA – A gold medal winning IPA that has been available sporadically in small batches, it’s now available in a much larger run that will be available primarily on draught at some of Ontario’s better beer bars.
Wish we could get them in B.C. !
