BRACEBRIDGE, ON – Muskoka Brewery has announced the release of this year’s edition of Winter Beard Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout, along with a limited number of bottles of the 2011 version.
A popular seasonal brand for the brewery, Winter Beard is described as follows:
What could be more reminiscent of a frigid Northern winter than an insulating beard and a warming Muskoka seasonal brew? Our Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout is rich and sturdy with roasted dark chocolate malts, real cocoa, 70% dark chocolate, and freshly harvested local cranberries. Pair that with a slightly higher alcohol content of 8% and you’ll find yourself sharing this bottle of joy all winter long. The beard is not included.
The 2012 edition of Winter Beard will be available at select LCBO and Beer Store locations, as well as the Muskoka brewery store, in 750 ml corked bottles selling for $10.95.
The 2011 vintage will be limited to 1000 bottles, available exclusively via Muskoka’s online retail store starting December 1st, with a price TBC.
