OTTAWA, ON – Big Rig Kitchen & Brewery has announced the release of a pair of new winter-friendly beers created by brewmaster Lon Ladell.
Now on tap at the brewpub is Black As Coal Double IPA, an 8.2% dark ale made with “loads of dark malts and 5 pitchings of fresh hops.”
Available in 500 ml bottles at the bar and to take home is Old Man Winter Strong Ale. Also 8.2%, it was brewed with Seville orange peel and Belgian candi sugar, and finished with apricots and yellow sultanas.
