ST. THOMAS, ON – Despite an earlier announcement that the release of this year’s batch had been cancelled due to production issues, Railway City Brewing has announced that the holiday seasonal Cranberry Pilsner is being released after all, and just in time for Christmas.
A near instant sell-out when first released before Christmas 2011, Cranberry Pilsner is a crisp flavoured lager made using Ontario-grown cranberries. It’s also a charity brew, with 50 cents from each bottle sold being donated to the St.Thomas-Elgin United Way.
Cranberry Pilsner is available now on draught and in bottles at the brewery store. It will also be available to sample at the Railway City holiday open house next Thursday December 27th. While admission will be free, those planning to attend should contact info@railwaycitybrewing.com to RSVP, so that there will be enough holiday treats for everyone to enjoy.
