EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewing has announced plans to release three new beers over the next few weeks.
Arriving next Monday January 14th will be Plaid Dragon Double IPA, the latest in Alley Kat’s series of Dragon-themed Double IPAs:
We took our favourite hops from previous DIPA’s and blended them together for ultimate hoptimization. Cascade, Simcoe, and HBC 342 flavour this delicious brew, while Columbus hops do the bittering. Released in time to celebrate Robbie Burns Day! You can almost hear the bagpipes!
Also planned for release next week is McDougall Scotch Ale, a 5.5% abv ale aged in a whiskey barrel, which will be available exclusively at Sherbrooke Liquor and the Alley Kat retail store.
At the end of January, St. Portersburg Baltic Porter will be out as the next instalment in the Alley Kat Big Bottle series of limited edition beers:
This warm, full-bodied porter has a sweet malty flavour with notes of dark fruits, caramel, and toffee. Originally brewed in the Baltic states of Latvia, Finland, and Russia in the 18th century, this brew’s history is as rich as its flavour!
