TORONTO, ON – Black Oak Brewing has announced plans to start releasing seasonal beers in a new larger format, and to make them available at the LCBO for the first time.
Previously available exclusively at the brewery in 341 ml bottles, the Black Oak rotating seasonal line-up will be moving to newly designed 650 ml bomber bottles, which will be distributed to select LCBO outlets throughout Ontario.
The first beer to make the size and availability upgrade will be the immensely popular Black Oak 10 Bitter Years Imperial IPA, which is planned for release in April. The series will continue through 2013 with Summer Saison, Oaktoberfest Lager and Nutcracker Porter, and into early 2014 with Double Chocolate Cherry Stout.
All of the beers will continue to be available at the Black Oak retail store, where other special editions – such as the recent Barrel Aged Nutcracker Porter – will also be released in limited quantities.
