VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has brought back winter seasonal The Hammer Imperial Stout, and as in the last couple of years, two different versions are available:
The Hammer Imperial Stout is once again smashing its way back into your local liquor store in 2 varieties: the classic, aged in stainless tanks full of rich roasted flavours and creamy mouthfeel, and a barrel-aged version aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels to achieve rich vanilla oak flavours. Both varieties pair beautifully with dark winter nights, or if you have the patience, are great candidates to make disappear for awhile in your beer cellar gulag.
650 ml bottles of both versions of The Hammer are available now in select private liquor stores in BC, as well as at the Phillips brewery store.
