ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced that this year’s version of spring seasonal Railway City Sham-Bock will be available at next week’s edition of their monthly Thursday Night Sessions tasting event.
Described as “a German Beer for an Irish Holiday,” Sham-Bock is a German-style bock brewed with the addition of maple syrup, and released in time for St. Patrick’s Day each year.
Sham-Bock will be debuted next Thursday February 21st at the Session, which takes place at Railway City starting at 7:00 PM. Several other Railway City beers will also be sampled, along with an Irish Stew made with Sham-Bock and fresh bread baked using spent grains from the brewery. Only 25 spots are available, and those interested in attending can email info@railwaycitybrewing.com to check on reservation availability.
Following the release event, Sham-Bock will be available at the Railway City retail store in the new 750 ml swing-top bottles that the brewery has recently moved to for its seasonal releases.
